Allow me to introduce my Dragonflies Coaster Set.

This is a fun mixed media technique using gesso, acrylic washes, drips and alcohol dispersion.  The colors come alive through the use of transparent layers of paint.  Then I show you how to go back into the previous layers to bring back highlights. The dragonfly is a simple image transfer technique, no fiddling with a liner!

I have used 6 Golden Artist Colors and a gel medium for the entire project.

Next we have the Weeping Willow Branch painted on a frosted vase.

This project is frosted with White Frost Gloss Enamels and painted with 6 Frost Gloss Enamels by Americana.  The other version of this project is in oranges, reds and yellows.

And finally I have, for you, the Sunflower Bar Stool.

The truth is, this can be painted on almost any surface... a circular floor cloth, a lazy susan, a serving tray and yes... a bar stool. 

I used Americana Decor Chalky Finish for the entire stool...love that chalky finish paint!  And the sunflower is made up of 11 Americana colors you likely already have on hand.

This packet contains 5 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions to paint this in greens or oranges.  Both look awesome.

You could skip the frost look and just paint the design directly on clear glass too!  And think about reducing the line drawing to fit on tall champagne flutes too!!

Once cured and heat-set, they are dishwasher safe!
