milk can refinisher

I'm looking for someone to refinish a milk can for me in or near San Diego. It was used by my Grandfather for many many years. I want to give it to my son but would like to spruce it up at least or I'm open to ideas. It is not terribly rusty and it has a brass nameplate with our family name soldered on to it.
