Peppa Pig Children's Shoes

A friend of mine asked me to make these for a birthday present for a special little miss. I used acrylic paints and canvas shoes and added ribbons for the laces. I also waterproofed the shoes. This was a fun project and I'm pleased with the results.

Thanks so much for the comments on the shoes. I use acrylic paint and paint markers. Then I use a sealer that waterproofs them. You can find it in the camping section of stores. I recommend cleaning them with a damp cloth. 🙂

I loved the painted children's sneakers. Could you please expand your instructions . Did you use any particular sort of acrylic paints? Do they have to be waterproof? Did the sneakers shrink in size after being painted at the toe?
