PermEnamels are no longer manufactured. They had a thinner made specifically for their enamel paint formulation.
Even so, I've never had any success thinning old, thick enamels. I've thrown out my fair share of paints because they just dried out over time. And when I tried to revive them, the pigment would just separate and it was just a big mess.
Can you tell me what a pudmuckle is? I thought the term described a tole painting stroke, but I cannot find it listed or illustrated anywhere. My email
Cheryl, Is it necessary to spray artwork with an acrylic spray if I use a quality canvas listed as “archival”? Cheryl, are you still writing newsletters?
