She is a rescue. We got her at age 8 years and have had her three years now. She is the sweetest, most mellow kitty you could ever meet.

She is diabetic so needs insulin injections twice daily and never, ever complains.

We have also recently adopted a rescue dog named Gracie. She is super special and very shy with strangers. She is as sweet and mellow as my kitty.

She had been just dropped somewhere in a nearby town before being taken to a shelter. So things are scary for her, such as people she doesn't know, big dogs, etc. But she is already becoming a wonderful companion.
